Glen Ord 20 year old That Boutique-y Whisky Company.

Tonight’s delightful dram from my Boutiquey advent calendar is this 20yo Glen Ord, independently bottled by That Boutiquey Whisky Company this is bottled at 51.9% and is of course all natural colour and NCF ..

Nose.. Floral with fresh apple peel, early morning walk through a fruit orchard in blossom.. candied orange, cinnamon, heather honey..

Palate.. The fruity side is dancing with spices and a little sweet apple crumble is the result..

Finish.. lingering with those spices refusing to let go..

Thoughts.. I have to admit I have not had the pleasure of much whisky from Glen Ord but this dram certainly makes me want to explore it some more.. Another great dram from the Boutiquey lot, well balanced with some decent depth..
